When you’re loading up for a weekend on the water or a long road trip, these 54" aluminum crossbars give you the stability and space you need. The full-length design makes room for multiple channel mount or clamp-on accessories, so you can bring kayaks, paddleboards, or a cargo box without running out of bar space. The aluminum construction keeps things solid under load and supports up to 165 lbs while staying light enough for easy handling.
Wind noise can ruin a quiet drive, but the aero-style design of these Sportz bars helps guide airflow smoothly over the roof. The rubberized dual strips in the top channels reduce drag and whistling while keeping things sealed against debris. You’ll notice less buffeting when cruising at highway speeds, making long trips more comfortable and less tiring.
From summer sun to winter salt, these bars are ready for it all. The black aluminum finish resists corrosion and wear while keeping a clean look year after year. With their sturdy build and lockable cover plates on the SX legs, the rack feels secure and dependable for every kind of adventure.
No need for separate setups—the same rack works with most bike racks, kayak carriers, snow mounts, and cargo boxes. Whether it’s fishing gear in spring or skis in winter, you can mix and match your accessories without extra adapters. It’s a flexible system that grows with your hobbies so you can stay ready for whatever trip comes next.
Leaving your vehicle loaded at a rest stop or campground is less stressful with lockable covers on each leg. They help keep the rack secured to your roof so you can focus on your plans instead of worrying about your setup. It’s a small feature that adds real confidence when you’re traveling far from home.

Rhino products are just great products They work today like the day I bought them and they show very little agewear. You really cant go wrong with Rhino products.

John, great review. I need the rack to carry my 9-6 longboard. Since my Hyundai as flush side rails. Im a little worried about uplift caused by wind getting under my board. I dont really want o see my long board sailing down the highway. Do you think the mounting brackets are sufficiently strong enough to transport my board?

I really like how the racks are holding up. I kept them on the Jeep, but it is garage kept. I like them much better than my Thule racks. I havent put a kayak up there yet.

No issues. Pretty simple to install and has stayed in place without requiring any adjustment. We took a trip to Florida last summer and trapped a cargo carrier to the top. It was pretty heavy but the Rhino held up great. Even through the auto car wash no issues. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you for the review! This part is designed to fit multiple vehicles with flush side rails. So far, we have not heard of any plans of Rhino Rack designing these particular feet to fit just the Telluride.

Great! I put the canoe on these racks and travel with confidence. The stock racks these replaced were nowhere near this strong and useful. We just returned from northern Wisconsin carrying two kayaks with Malone j-racks, which I install on the Rhino rack in a few minutes, and those boats were solid and safe the whole trip. Great addition to my vehicle!

Nice set-up Stacey! So where are you mainly surfing or kayaking? I grew up in SoCal and have not been on a surfboard since I was 14, I wonder if it is like riding a bike?
